Recipe cards promote produce

A RECIPE for smoked wild salmon tartlets provided by Usan Fisheries features among new recipe cards produced for next’s week’s A Taste of Angus festival.
Each of the 12 cards provides a step-by-step guide to making a dish created by a local Angus food producer, ranging from Hot Banana Chicken to Haggis Lasagne and Charleton Farm’s secret to fresh strawberry tarts.
The cards are available from participating businesses, as well as self-catering outlets, B&Bs, caravan parks, Visitor Information Centres and libraries across Angus and can also be downloaded from the festival website at www.atasteofangus.com.
A Taste of Angus starts on Saturday and will run until Saturday, September 8.
