Still time for spring clean

A CALL has gone out for people across Angus to join the 2,480 others in the county who have already backed Keep Scotland Beautiful’s National Spring Clean.

The event runs until Thursday, May 31, and the charity has said there is still time for community groups to get involved.

Chief executive Derek Robertson said: “Keep Scotland Beautiful would like to thank all involved in this tremendous effort, and encourage everyone to do their bit to clean up their favourite part of Scotland”.

Keep Scotland Beautiful provides group organisers with free clean up kits, and they can also request additional assistance from their local council. Details are available online at www.keepscotlandbeautiful.org/springclean.
