MONTROSE Roselea have been crowned East Region North Division Champions with two games to spare.

The team won 5-0 on Saturday against Dundee Violet in their final away match, while their only challengers Broughty Athletic could only draw with Kirrie Thistle allowing Roselea the luxury of claiming the title with two home matches to play.

The players can take great credit from their away form this season as they have won all 11 matches scoring 36 goals and conceding only six.

The club are hoping that the Montrose people will turn out in numbers to support the club in their two remaining home fixtures. The first of these is on Saturday (May 23) when East Craigie visit Broomfield Park with a 2.30pm kick off.

The final match of the season will be played next Tuesday evening (May 26) when Broughty Athletic are the visitors.

Roselea will be presented with the league trophy. Kick-off is 7.30pm. A limited amount of hospitality is still available for this game by contacting Roy Gill on 07908763219 or by contacting any committee member.
