The home side were without Kerrigan and Anderson but still had a large squad to choose from.
The East Region North Champions were applauded onto the field of play by a very sporting East Craigie side prior to kick off.
On an excellent playing
surface it was Roselea who took started the game well and Watson had the first shot of the game but his effort went past.
Watson tried his luck again but keeper Mitchell got down well to save his shot.
The game swung to the other end and McBride broke clear of the home defence on the right but could only chip the ball to the outrushing McLeod in his attempt to put it over the keeper.
Roselea had a spell of pressure. Firstly Graham had his shot blocked in the penalty area from a dangerous corner then Kennedy had a long range shot just wide.
The rest of the first half was played out with little goalmouth action with an end of season feel to the game.
The deadlock was broken in 48 minutes and it was East Craigie who took the lead. A free kick was swung into the Roselea penalty area. Coogan headed the ball back across goal and the unmarked Constable saw his looping header drop in the net.
Roselea were stung by this and swung the game to the other end but they found it difficult to break down a solid looking Craigie defence as their normal composed play was deserting them.
Longmuir was next to try for Roselea but his glancing header from another corner went across goal and past the post.
The game continued to be played in the Craigie half and Rae was off target with a long range shot after being set up by Kennedy.
Roselea made changes throughout the second half. McKellar, Page and Doug Craig were introduced and this made for a few positional changes.
The changes almost paid dividends as McKellar beat two defenders and curled a shot towards goal. It took a deflection and went past but the official gave a goal kick.
Watson then had a great chance when the ball reached him at the back post but his attempted hook shot was weak and easily cleared up.
Combined sponsors John Crawford, MGFA, Greenpark Garage and Brian Church chose Calum Rae as their Man of the Match.
This was a disappointing result for Roselea, losing their unbeaten league record on the last Saturday of the season.
