An Angus-based family-owned estate and lettings agency has shown it is more than a match for big business after scooping a prestigious award.
Wardhaugh Property last week picked up the coveted silver award for ‘Scotland Agency Of The Year’ at the Negotiator Awards at the London Hilton this week.
Demonstrating all-round excellence in sales and lettings, Wardhaugh Property triumphed against last year’s silver winner, KnightBain Estate Agents, and narrowly missed out on gold to industry heavyweight, McEwan Fraser Legal.
Described as the ‘residential property industry’s Oscars’, over 700 agents packed the London Hilton for the industry’s most popular UK-wide residential property awards scheme. The competition was the toughest it has ever been with this year achieving the highest number of entries in their history.
This is the second award Wardhaugh has won recently after receiving bronze in the ‘Best Scotland Lettings Agency’ category at the ‘Lettings Agency of the Year Awards’ in June. The company’s continued success demonstrates the value of locally based, independent agents that focus on customer satisfaction and always going the extra mile.
On winning the award Director of Wardhaugh Property, Amanda Wiewiorka said: “We are thrilled to have been recognised as the second-best agency in Scotland, and particularly delighted to have gone up against a number of much larger agencies being beaten only by McEwan Fraser Legal, one of the largest firms in Scotland. To win silver at these prestigious awards is an honour and tribute to the hard work and dedication each member of staff puts in every single day.
“Unlike some of the larger players, we can offer a more bespoke service and our team all have a deep understanding of the area so can provide expert advice based on decades of experience.”
