THIS month the stallholders at the Angus Farmers’ Market will be looking out their kilts for the Tartan Week festivities.
Tartan Week is the perfect opportunity to celebrate Scottish people, heritage and culture and, of course, local food and produce.
First class locally produced food will be in abundance together with handmade crafts for an enjoyable shopping experience in Montrose High Street.
Last month the market introduced new stallholders including Hubertus Game with their fantastic range of Scottish game. Hubertus also sell homemade sausages and burgers including wild boar and pheasant and cranberry. This is a truly exciting range of products which are all wild and free range.
Garthmon Farm Poultry will also return for their second visit to Montrose with their finest free range poultry. Their products range includes chicken, turkeys and duck with varying sizes of whole birds.
As Sunday is Mother’s Day you will find plenty of great gift ideas for your mums and grannies. Eeksie Peeksie and Charmed Choices will give you a whole world of choice to find the perfect present.
The farmers market is a great place to bring the whole family for a morning of tasting and chatting at Montrose High Street from 9am to 1pm.
