DUNDEE Schools Music Theatre is proud to present one of the world’ longest running theatrical productions, Cats school production, at Dundee Rep Theatre this week.

The show opens tonight (Wednesday) and runs until Saturday, August 18 at 7.30 pm nightly.

Based on Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats featuring 14 of T.S. Eliot’s original poems set to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s stirring score, the show invites the audience over the rooftops to meet practical, fanatical, dramatic cats!

Dundee Schools Music Theatre returns to Dundee Rep Theatre after its sell-out production of Our House in 2011.

This dazzling company will bring their own inimitable style and creativity to one of the most famous musicals of all time.

With stunning new designs, dynamic choreography, a fabulous live orchestra and boundless energy the cast, entirely made up of students, will sing and dance their way through this piece of musical theatre history.

The following week a second energetic cast invite audiences to join them on a “Summer Holiday” from Thursday, August 23 to Saturday, August 25 at the Whitehall Theatre Dundee in a musical trip featuring everyone’s favourite songs from the classic film “Summer Holiday”.

And nine years on since Dundee Schools Music Theatre were the first to produce the epic “Les Miserables” in the area the company are delighted to present their new production of the show at the Gardyne Theatre from Wednesday, August 29 to Saturday, September 1.
