THERE ARE still spaces available for Heartstart Discovery courses in Montrose this month.
Heartstart Discovery provide free two-hour training sessions in emergency life support throughout Angus and will be running classes all year.
Being able to perform emergency life support will give a casualty the best possible chance of survival.
During a class you will learn how to care for an unconscious person who is breathing or not breathing, perform CPR, recognise the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and how to deal with it, help someone who is choking and help someone who is bleeding badly.
No medical knowledge is required in order to take part and remember it only takes two hours to learn the skills that may some day save a life.
The next session in Montrose will take place on Monday, March 21, from 2 to 4pm. Training sessions can also be arranged on request for groups, organisations and clubs.
