FUNK fans eager to see the Average White Band when they come to Montrose as part of the town's first ever music festival are now able to get their hands on tickets.
The not-for-profit Montrose Music Festival committee announced in October that the legendary funk and soul band would be headlining the event in a one-off special gig at the Town Hall on Friday, May 30 next year.

The festival will continue on the Saturday and Sunday with music from a range of genres being performed at a number of venues throughout the town.

Tickets for the Average White Band are now on general sale and can be bought at Henry Hogg's newsagent in Montrose High Street or by logging onto the website at www.montrosemusicfestival.co.uk.

For more information, email ticketmaster@montrosemusicfestival.co.uk or phone 07925 136 548 between 5pm-9pm Monday to Sunday.
