CASTLEGAIT Gallery will be doing its bit for the forthcoming Children in Need appeal thanks to the generosity of one of its customers.
The gallery has two prints by Scottish artist Alexander Millar to raffle off for the annual campaign, which were bought and donated by an anonymous client.

Gallery manager Ali Deighton said: "The customer bought and paid for them but when she came back she said she'd changed her mind and that she'd like us to raffle them off."

"Alexander Millar's fairly well-known and they're lovely prints, ready just to hang on the wall."

The prints - entitled Tightrope and Comrades - will be raffled separately, rather than as a pair, and can be viewed at the gallery up until the draw on November 16. Tickets, costing £1 per strip, are available now.
