Summer reading scheme

The Montrose Summer reading scheme is over and an award ceremony took place in the Town Hall on Friday.
This was a bumper year, with children inspired by the Olympic theme and 80 children were presented with gold medals by local gym teacher Sylvia Cranston.
The younger children have been completing a Bookstart Crawl and 58 children were presented with certificates and bears.
The younger children are pictured with Hamish the Bear at the presentation.
