MARGARET Addison has retired after 27 years working at the Scotmid store in Borrowfield.
Margaret started work when the shop was owned by Graeme and Gabriella Reid.
She was with them for 18 years during which time the store was a Spar and a Costcutter.
Subsequently the shop became a Mace and a Somerfield and for the last three years has been owned by Scotmid.
Margaret says she has enjoyed her time at the shop and will miss her colleagues and the customers.
Margaret was presented with flowers from the company and the staff went for a meal to Roo's Leap.
