MONTROSE Day Care Centre has taken delivery of a new £28,000 people carrier, funded by donations and the centre's own fundraising efforts.
Centre chairperson Pat Wood said they were very grateful for all the support and they will be inviting all those who donated towards the new vehicle to visit and admire it.
The vehicle will be used to transport people to and from the centre and for social outings. It is fully wheelchair accessible and also has a special automated seat which can be lowered outside the vehicle to make boarding even easier for some clients.
The new people carrier replaces the Eurobus which the centre has had for seven years.
The vehicle was converted to meet the Day Care Centre's specific needs by Gleneagles Conversions.
Pictured with the people carrier are centre manager Irene Mitchell, chairperson Pat Wood, deputy manager Julie Mackie, director of transport Sandy Moncur and Graeme Paterson of Gleneagles Conversions.
