A free gig with a selection of local talented bands will entertain a crowd in Montrose at the ‘b@r’ this Friday (April 4).

The music will kick off at 7.30 p.m. at the bar which is situated at 2 Hume Street in the town.

The bands playing on the night will be Ferus Cane, H.R.O and Brittle Head Girl.

Ryan Thain, who plays the guitar in Ferus Cane, told the Review: “We are young, full of energy and will play music to suit all of your needs.

“You’ll get hit with face melting guitar solos and pounding bass lines!

“We play covers as well as our own original material and are currently looking to play gigs.

“So come hear us play!”

Ferus Cane recently performed in the Town Hall in aid of the Marykirk Raft Race and are currently taking bookings to perform at charity gigs and events.

The band can be contacted via their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/FerusCane or by telephoning 07712124619.
