Another big name act will play in Montrose - pop rock giants T’Pau will be town next year as they release their new studio album.
The 80’s pop legends will take to the stage at Montrose Town Hall on March 13 next year, as they tour to support their new album ‘Pleasure and Pain’.
T’Pau will be belting out classics, such as, ‘China in Your Hand’, as well as singing some new songs.
North East Musical and Sports Promotions was set up earlier this year by local father and son Charlie and Craig Campbell, and already the duo have lined up a number of big names for Montrose, including Big Country and Runrig singer Donnie Munro.
Craig said: “We Delighted to confirm that Carol Decker and T’Pau are the latest big name act to be confirmed for Montrose.
“The band who shot to fame in the 80s with world wide multi million selling hits, such as ‘China in Your Hand’, ‘Heart and Soul’ and the quadruple platinum selling album ‘Bridge of Spies’.
He added: “Scotland’s top covers band Blue Delta will be support in what will be a memorable 80’s revival night.”

The band was formed in 1986 in Shropshire and took their name from a Vulcan elder of the same name in the sci-fi series Star Trek. ‘China in Your Hand was their biggest UK hit, spending five weeks at number 1.
