Wondering how to spend Valentine’s Day? An afternoon tea is being held in Old and St Andrew’s Church Hall in aid of a Montrose boy.
From 2 to 4 p,m. on Valentine’s Day there will be a traditional afternoon tea of sandwiches, scones and cakes in the church hall on the High Street to raise funds for Rhys Allan, a seven-year-old a local boy who suffers from cerebral palsy.
The family have been fund-raising for Rhys for a few years and the money enables him to have physiotherapy and other treatments to assist in his everyday life.
Rhys says he is looking forward to his afternoon tea and hopes that lots of people will come along to support him and have a Happy Valentine’s Day.
Entrance is £2 and is pay at the door on the day.
As well as the afternoon tea there will be Valentine’s Day hamper to be won, along with raffle prizes, bric-a-brac, home knitwear and cake and candy.
