Aldi has confirmed that it is currently recruiting for the 15 roles that its forthcoming Montrose store will bring to the town.
Work is continuing on the German supermarket’s Montrose site which lies near to the town’s railway station, and it is expected to be completed and opened later this year.
An Aldi spokesperson said: “Construction of our Montrose store is progressing well and we look forward to opening in August. We are currently recruiting for 15 new employees, and would encourage those from the local community to apply by visiting our website at www.aldirecruitment.co.uk.”
According to Aldi they offer a living wage package of at least £8.53 an hour to all employees, the highest starting pay in the sector.
