New construction boss at Pert Bruce

DESPITE economic gloom within the construction sector, local firm Pert Bruce is weathering the storm.

The company has restructured its internal management, and is pleased to announce the appointment of Graeme Davies as the construction director.

Graeme (41) hails from Forfar and has been employed by the company for the past 12 months.

He brings with him 25 years’ experience in the business, with a trade background and managerial roles with local and national companies.

Joint managing director Jamie Pert said: “Graeme has been instrumental in recent changes and improving efficiency within Pert Bruce, and this role will help to reinforce the company’s position as one of the leading builders in the north-east of Scotland.”

Craig Bruce, also joint managing director, added: “Graeme’s role will help Pert Bruce withstand the difficulties facing the industry and the business will emerge stronger and fitter when the sector picks up, as it surely will.”
