Business people and budding entrepreneurs are being encouraged by D&A College to Think Big as they invite entrants to compete for cash prizes and free services once again.

Think Big is supported by Angus Council, Bridge 2 Business, flik Magazine, Federation of Small Businesses, Dundee Social Enterprise Network, AFM Solutions Ltd, Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce, and Mackays Ltd, amongst others.

Think Big is an initiative originally launched by the Federation of Small Businesses in Angus which has grown from strength to strength over the years and is now open for entries covering the Dundee and Angus region.

Last year’s competition handed out £16,000 in cash and services.

From Monday, September 12, applications are invited for two separate categories: new business and business growth.

Interested parties are invited to complete a short application form which includes a brief business plan.

For those successfully shortlisted they will be invited to present a pitch to a panel of judges representing public, private and third sector businesses trading in the Dundee and Angus region.

The closing date for applications is Friday, November 2.
