A retail charity has pledged its support to help retail workers deal with the chaos caused by flooding.

retailTRUST, the UK’s leading retail charity, has today reiterated its support for retail workers affected by the aftermath of the devastating floods in Scotland, with a promise to provide free emotional support, legal advice and financial support to those in need.

Retail workers across the North East of Scotland, where the most damage has been caused, are urged to visit the retailTRUST HUB website or call the free helpline on 0808 801 0808 to see how the Charity can assist them in their recovery.

January is a difficult month and the timing couldn’t be worse for those affected, but retailTRUST are here to help victims of the floods at one of the most expensive times of the year.

retailTRUST offer hardship grants to those in need, providing short-term financial assistance that could prove to be a lifeline at this time of year; workers can apply online to find out if they are eligible for a grant. And alongside financial support, retailTRUST can offer free advice to those affected; from help with applying for an insurance claim to legal advice on tenants’ rights and obligations in a disaster situation.

If you are a retail worker affected by the floods, retailTRUST urge you to contact them on 0808 801 0808 or via the website. Donations can also be made to the retailTRUST flood fund here:
