ANGUS College health, social and childcare students have raised more than £200 for charity by pounding the pavements around Montrose
The group, all of whom are based at the college’s local learning centre on Northesk Road, presented their cheque for £235 to local Cancer Research UK representative Alana Louden last week.
They raised the money from a six-mile sponsored walk around the town.
Care tutor Stephanie Caird-Stirling said: “The students were required to undertake a fund-raising activity as part of their course’s citizenship module. They have been really enthusiastic throughout and did a fantastic job in raising this amount of money.”
