Children’s charity boost

KIRSTY McIntosh, from Montrose, who owns Odyssee Hair Design in Johnshaven, has been responsible for another donation to the Little Princess Trust.

The charity provides wigs for children who have been treated for cancer and who, as a result, have lost their hair.

Customer Adele McGilvray offered to have her lengthy locks trimmed to make a donation, and customers and friends did this with enthusiasm.

Kirsty has now been in touch to say that a total of £545.50 was raised for making the wigs; and with gift aid that increases to £698.72.

She added: “That is more than enough to make two wigs. Adele had enough hair cut off to make them both.

“I would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who gave so generously, in particular our friends at Petrofac in Montrose. They helped us raise £144.”
