Christmas Bonanza at Borrowfield returns for second year

Borrowfield Community Group are set to return with the second Borrowfield Christmas Bonanza on Sunday (December 7) to be held in the community centre and car park between midday and 4 p.m.

The event will be opened by the Montrose Rose Queen at 12 noon.

Chairman of Borrowfield Community Group Scott Constantine said: “We are pleased to bring the Christmas Bonanza back to Borrowfield for the second year. There will be something for all the family so please come along and share in the festive cheer and 
community spirit.”

The Miami ride will be back along with other fairground rides, hot food and fun stalls within the car park. A host of local venders in the community centre .

Santa will be visiting and will be in his grotto at the centre with one of his elves between 1 and 3 p.m. He will then join the carol singers from Ferryden and St Margaret’s primary schools for a festive sing-a-long.

Limited parking will be available at Borrowfield Primary School and The Black Abbott where Heidrum will take to the stage at 7 p.m.

Montrose Emergency Services Group (MESG) will be working alongside Borrowfield Community group to bring the event to the area.
