Councillor joins agency board

Angus Councillor Sheena Welsh Children in Scotland has been appointed to serve on the board of national agency Children in Scotland.

Mrs Welsh, councillor for Arbroath East and Lunan, is convener of Angus Council’s Children and Learning committee and is a member of Angus Council Charitable Trust, Arbroath Harbour Joint Consultative Committee, Angus Joint Negotiating Committee for Teachers.

Commenting on her appointment, she said: “I am extremely pleased and privileged to be on the board of Children in Scotland.

“I’m looking forward to being part of the Board and working to deliver positive outcomes for children, young people and families across Scotland.”
