120 hours’ unpaid work

A COMMUNITY service order of 120 hours was imposed on James William Govan (19), 35 Adams Way (the most recent address on the Court papers), when he appeared at Arbroath Sheriff Court last Tuesday.

He had pleaded guilty to offences in Montrose High Street on November 3, when he conducted himself in a disorderly manner, shouted and swore, threatened violence and committed a breach of the peace.

He assaulted a male and pushed him on the body.

When police were called, he attempted to resist arrest.
