The Edzell branch of Bel’s Butchers, which also has a shop in Murray Street, Montrose, suffered a break-in some time between 7 p.m. last Sunday (December 21) and 6 a.m. the following morning (December 22).

Turkey, steak, gammon, lamb, chicken and bacon were amongst the items stolen from a refrigeration unit at the rear of the shop.

Anyone who has information that could assist police with their enquiries, or knows who is responsible for this crime, should contact Police Scotland on 101. Alternatively information can be passed via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
