IN THE Review dated July 12, we reported an alleged bullying incident at Montrose Swimming Pool.
The information given to us was that a group of five youths had intimidated and in one case punched younger boys.
The matter then became the subject of an investigation by Angus Council, which runs the pool, and Tayside Police.
The mother of one of the alleged victims has contacted us to ask Angus Council to consider putting a system in place whereby all young people are identifiable when using leisure facilities.
She said: “This would be useful not only for unsocial behaviour but more importantly in case of a fire or injury.”
