Dance auditions for pantomime

OPEN auditions for Sleeping Beauty are to be held Sunday, August 19 at the Webster Memorial Theatre in Arbroath.

The 2012 Professional Panto is a classic fairytale that will appeal to the whole family. It will be produced by NLP Theatre, established 2005 by Artistic Director Scott Kyle, who’s production of Singin’ I’m No a Billy, He’s a Tim by Des Dillon went on to become Scottish Theatre’s biggest success story of recent times and won him “The Stage Best Actor Award” in 2010 for his performance as Billy in the show.

Scott is holding open dance auditions this Sunday. These open auditions offer an amazing opportunity for the talent of Angus to work with a professional theatre company and with a cast that includes Paul James Corrigan and Robert Jack, stars of the hit comedy show Gary Tank Commander, Amanda Beveridge, Fiona Wood and Radio Tay’s very own Waggy. Auditions are open to everyone and no specific dance grades are required. Junior dancers Age 8 – 12 years, 11am – 1pm; senior dancers age 13 upwards, 2pm – 5pm. Early bird tickets for Sleeping Beauty are now on sale. The show runs for 30 performances between Thursday, December 6 to Thursday, December 27. 2012.
