The Royal Scottish National Orchestra will share the Caird Hall stage with the renowned soprano Lesley Garrett next month.
They will be joined by the Discovery Youth Choir, specially formed for this concert and composed of pupils from Dundee’s Secondary Schools.
The event is the City of Discovery Charity Concert in aid of the Ninewells Cancer Campaign and Tayside Area Cancer Support which takes place on Saturday, June 8.
The choir is being coached by Anna Flannagan, award-winning soprano and vocal coach for the BBC Proms.
Lesley Garrett, CBE, is Britain’s most popular soprano, regularly appearing in both opera and in concert, on television and CD; she has won both critical acclaim and the affection of many fans and music lovers.
