EASTER brings a host of fun-filled family activities at the Montrose Basin Visitor Centre. Staff and volunteers at the Scottish Wildlife Trust’s flagship site are gearing up to make this a time for all the family to enjoy.
Activities kick off on Wednesday (April 4), at 10.30am with ‘Who lives in a nest like this?’ and nest building games.
On April 7 from 1 to 4pm kids can get messy at the Family Fun Day with biscuit decorating and Easter crafts including cards and Easter bonnets. The day also includes storytelling from 2 to 3.30pm.
Finally on April 11 at 10.30am it’s time to get out on to the Basin with ‘Mud, glorious mud!’ Youngsters will have a rare opportunity to walk on Montrose Basin and seek creatures living there.
Scottish Wildlife Trust regional visitor centre manager Caroline Hendry said: “This is a great opportunity to keep the kids entertained over the Easter break and learn all about the creatures and habitats of the Montrose Basin Reserve.”
