Rossie Young People’s Trust was delighted to earn the Eat Safe Award recently.

Awarded to commercial food businesses, Eat Safe is designed to promote the very highest standards in food hygiene and food safety management across Scotland.

The Award is administered by local Council Environmental Health Services in conjunction with Food Standards Scotland. It recognises the highest standard for excellence in every aspect of preparing food for consumers, and goes way beyond normal environmental health and statutory standards. Rossie now shares the Award with other establishments across Scotland, including universities, Leith’s, Loch Fyne restaurants, and large multinational caterers such as Sodexo and Compass. There are currently only 15 recipients of the Award throughout Angus.
