Young media opportunities

If you are a young person aged between 11 and 25 and are looking for something to do during the summer holidays, here’s an idea.

Angus Council’s Community Learning and Development Service may well have something that will interest you.

Their summer programme may allow you to unleash your creative side or you might just want to try out something new.

The programme will run for four weeks during July and consists of activities themed around media and the arts.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served, basis. Sessions will run from July 9 to 31 as follows:

Tuesdays

Film & photography (13 places available).

Drama (15 places available)

Radio (6 places available)

Wednesdays

Animation (10 places available)

Radio (6 places available)

All sessions will be held in the Community Wing at Forfar Academy and will run from 12noon to 3pm.

It is recommended that participants bring a packed lunch with them.

Free transport by minibus may be available to those living outside Forfar who book early enough.
