Musical theatre legend Elaine Paige OBE will headline at Glamis Prom 2015 alongside The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

After a two-year absence from Angus county’s classical calendar, Glamis Prom will return to Glamis Castle, home to the Earl and Countess of Strathmore.

Glamis Proms Ltd., in association with PDF Productions and Apex Acoustics, promise a spectacular evening of enchanting music.

Elaine said: “I’m really looking forward to performing at Glamis Castle in 2015 with the RPO.

“When I announced last year that I’d just be doing the occasional one-off special concert from now on, instead of touring, Glamis Castle sounded the perfect place to perform.

“I’ve heard so much about it and am looking forward to seeing everyone there.”

The announcement will be welcome news to music aficionados from the local community and surrounding areas that were left disappointed when the event was cancelled in 2013.

Such is her popularity, the addition of Elaine Paige to the event is certain to appeal to a wider audience.

Set against the romantic backdrop of Glamis Castle, music lovers can purchase gazebo pitches and will be permitted to bring their own picnics to enjoy some al fresco food and drink.

Concert goers will be encouraged to attend in their finery and really ramp up the glamour and sense of occasion.
