“Elderly” male driver hurt on A935

A driver was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee on Friday night after his vehicle left the Montrose to Brechin road.

Police Scotland are investigating the road traffic collision on the A935 near the junction with Dun, which occurred about 9.45 p.m. on Friday, March 6.

A purple Ford Fiesta motorcar left the road and came to rest in a field.

Police told us: “Ambulance staff conveyed the elderly male driver to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, where his condition was described as stable.”

Police would are appealling to the driver of a vehicle who came across the accident and flagged down an ambulance to contact Police Scotland Divisional Road Policing Unit officers at Dundee on 101.

Anyone else who may have witnessed the accident and has not spoken to Police is asked to contact them with any information they may have, also on 101.
