Brownies help to keep Scotland Beautiful

The 6th Montrose Brownies recently carried out a litter pick in the grounds of Lochside Primary School .

This was their contribution to the Keep Scotland Beautiful campaign.

Angus Council had kindly loaned the Brownies the litter picking equipment which the girls had great fun putting to good use.

And as an extra treat, the Montrose branch of Greggs the Baker supplied goodies as a reward for the girls’ hard work.

The Brownies have a major event on the horizon, because they will be celebrating the Big Brownie Birthday in 2014.

As part of the fund-raising for the events next year the committee is holding a fashion show at M&Co, High Street, on Tuesday, June 25, from 7pm.

Tickets, £5 adults and £2.50 concession, are available from M&Co as well as Clarks Shoe Shop.
