THE BULK of this year’s Doors Open Day Angus events will take place this weekend.
Doors Open Day allows members of the public the opportunity, free of charge, to take a look at some of the cultural and historical buildings in the county. Angus Council has continued its involvement in Doors Open Day, which is held throughout Scotland on varying weekends throughout September. Entrance to some buildings requires pre-booking so visitors are asked to check first.

Sheriff Court, Forfar - Saturday.
Milton Studio, Glamis - Saturday.
Seaview Primary School, Monifieth - Saturday.
Abbey Theatre, Arbroath - Saturday and Sunday.
Royal Observer Corps Museum, Arbroath - Saturday and Sunday.
Airlie Monument, Cortachy - Saturday and Sunday.
Pictavia, Brechin - Saturday and Sunday.
Logie Schoolhouse, Logie, by Montrose -Saturday and Sunday.
Fire Station, Arbroath - Sunday.
Lifeboat Station, Arbroath - Sunday.
Kinnaird Castle, Farnell, by Brechin - Sunday.
