THE STAFF and children of St Margaret’s RC Primary School recently dressed in ‘something green’ to celebrate ‘Green Day’.
This was to acknowledge the environment and the ongoing work carried out by the school’s Eco Group, in their endeavour to do their bit in helping to preserve and nurture our planet.
In partnership with the Marie Curie Charity each child in the school planted a daffodil bulb in November.
They watered and nurtured the plant until it was time to take it home.
And everyone was happy to do just that, in their personalised pots, on Tuesday.
A donation of £60 was made to Marie Curie charity.
