ANGUS Council is supporting food businesses in the county through a series of training events.
The authority’s environmental health section has now gained approval from the Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland to run Intermediate level food hygiene course for the first time.
These are designed for supervisors and managers, and the first course will be run over three days from March 9 at Bruce House in Arbroath.
Bookings are being taken on a first come first served basis, however those businesses wishing to apply for an EATsafe award in Angus will be given priority. The award is given to food businesses who meet standards in food hygiene which are in excess of that required by current food hygiene legislation.
A booking form is available on the council website, by calling 01307 473913 or e-mailing email@example.com.
