Former Inspirals’ front man to play second gig

FORMER Inspiral Carpets front man Tom Hingley is to make a second appearance at the Kinloch Arms Hotel, Carnoustie, this Friday (May 10).

Almost 100 fans packed into the hotel’s lounge in March, and Tom is returning due to popular demand.

‘This is how it feels’, ‘She comes in the fall’ and ‘Caravan’ were all hits for the Inspirals, and local fans can get a rare opportunity to see Tom perform again.

Proprietor Jonathan McInally told the Guide & Gazette that it should be a fantastic night. “I’m absolutely delighted that Tom Hingley is playing the Kinloch again. We had such great feedback from the first gig that I have been desperate for Tom to return.

“He really enjoyed it here the last time and I am sure that with word having got around about how good he was tickets will be like gold dust.”

People present at the last gig were thrilled by Hingley’s acoustic set which included all of the Inspirals’ hits, covers and some of Tom’s solo material.

Tickets will be available for the gig from the Kinloch Arms Hotel, High Street, Carnoustie, from tomorrow (Tuesday), priced at £7 each. Any remaining will be available from the door on Sunday night.

The show gets under way at 8.30 p.m.
