Friday’s visit of comedian Fred MacAulay to Montrose Town Hall for a charity gig is shaping up nicely.
Team Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Montrose are working hard to make the evening a memorable one.
MC for the evening, Ross Thomson, will entertain guests with his usual blend of sharp wit and banter before Fred takes to the stage.
There are some fantastic table top raffle prizes, not least a two-night stay for two with breakfast at the Glasgow Hilton, hospitality voucher for Roselea FC and a £125 Specsavers voucher.
Fred, who has appeared on Mock The Week and Have I Got News For You, among many others, will entertain with his take on ‘Life’.
The stage will then be taken over by fun-loving three-piece rock cover band Fubar from Aberdeen who will rock out, rounding off a fantastic night of comedy and music.
The Royal British Legion Scotland is running a fully licensed bar, and nibbles will be provided on tables. There is also a surprise or two in store for the guests! Doors at the Town Hall open at 7pm and the entertainment starts at 7.30.
The event has been organised by Montrose couple Anne and Ally Hutchison, whose 13-year-old son, Aidan, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes last year.
Tickets, £20.18 and £22.29, can be purchased from the Eventbrite website.
