FUBAR set to rock community fun day

Back by popular demand after their fantastic performance at this year’s Mo Fest 2013, FUBAR will be headlining the Borrowfield Fun Day.

The event on will be held on Borrowfield Park between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 25 and has been organised by Borrowfield Community Group Association.

PC Ally Hutchinson said: “Come along and enjoy a fun packed fantastic family day out. Listen to headline act Fubar or throw water balloons at the brave people in the stocks.”

There will be demonstrations by Maggie Kelly’s Energie Fitness For Women team, Sean’s Body Combat Class, the Zuglu Drummers and resident DJ - The Jazzy P Experience.

There will be something for everyone, with activities including target football, aqua balls, an inflatable slide, bouncy castle and sumo suits,

Montrose Football Club Supporters’ Club will be there with a special guest appearance by mascot Monty Mole.

There will be a host of stalls, emergency service vehicles and the Montrose Air Cadets and Army Cadets will be making an appearance.

The ‘Abbi’s Journey’ sponsored walkers who are fund-raising for local girl Abbi Reid will finishing their walk at the fun day.

There will be refreshments, as well as a barbecue.
