MONTROSE Library will be the venue next month for a funding workshop for local organisations.
Organised by Angus Council’s external funding team, the session will concentrate on online funding and is part of a series organised for each of the seven Angus libraries.
Each session lasts from 2 to 4pm and will deal with where to look online for funding in general, and for particular types of organisations.
Those attending will also be introduced to a range of online funding opportunities such as cash back and donation sites, where supporters and donors can support a cause. Traditional fund-raising still has its place, but these ideas will offer internet-savvy, less labour-intensive ways of bringing in vital funds at a time when trust funding is restricted.
The Montrose session will be held on Friday, October 28, and places are limited. Other sessions will be held in Kirriemuir Library on Tuesday, September 6; Monifieth Library on Friday, September 9; Brechin Library on Tuesday, September 13; Arbroath Library on Monday, October 24; and Carnoustie Library on Monday, October 31.
Early booking is recommended for chosen dates and location which can be done by e-mailing email@example.com, or calling Eddie Findlay on 01307 473264.
