The beautiful Gallery garden will be open on Saturday, May 23, from 2 to 5 pm as part for the Scotland’s Garden open days to raise money for charity.

Practical Action will receives 40 per cent, the net remaining will go to Scotland’s Gardens beneficiaries.

The redesign and replanting of this historic garden have preserved and extended its traditional framework of holly, privet and box. The garden has a collection of old rose and a fountain and pond in a formal white garden. A walk through the woodland garden, home to rare breed sheep, with its extensive border of mixed heathers, leads to the river North Esk. From there rough paths lead both ways along the bank.

Admission is £4, accompanied children go free.

There is disabled access and dogs must be kept on leads.
