Have your say

DALE and Trudy Murray have been completely overwhelmed by the support their son Riley has received so far towards reaching the goal of £50,000 required for selective dorsal rhizotomy surgery.

They hope this will be carried out by Dr Park at St Louis Children’s Hospital in Missouri.

In just six weeks £9,000 has been raised with numerous fund-raising events still to take place.

The next of which is to be a race night held at the Neptune Bar, Montrose, on Friday (June 10), starting at 7.30pm.

Good friends Fiona Thompson nd Alan Brett, along with the owner of the Neptune Bar, Anne Higgins, have got their heads together to organise bringing a piece of ‘Royal Ascot’ to the Neptune Bar.

They have requested that all the ladies wear a hat or a fascinator on the night as a Montrose Review photographer is due to attend at 7.30pm to capture the scene.

They would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of the companies who have sponsored a race and thank all of the people who have very kindly donated raffle prizes.

Trudy and Dale would also like to personally thank everyone who has contributed so far towards helping their son, Riley, take his first steps. This would be a dream come true for the whole family.
