THE Celtic Theatre Company return to Balnaboth House in Glen Prosen to mark the centenary of Captain Robert Falcon Scott’s Terra Nova Expedition.
On Saturday and Sunday September 22 and 23 they will perform a play called “Ghosts in the Glen”. This has been specially written by Richard White and Rose McLennan Craig. Kern Falconer will be taking part in the play, and returning to Balnaboth will be Vincent Guy, Tina Moskel and Zoe Moskal-Guy. Many people will remember their haunting performances in J.M.Barrie’s “Farewell Miss Julie Logan”
“Ghosts in the Glen” explores how Sir J.M. Barrie and Captain Scott are connected with Glen Prosen. It also traces Scott’s ancestry back to the 13th century suggesting where he got his courage, love of knowledge, will power and ability to write. The play is interspersed with appropriate songs and music and readings.
