Grace wins crime story contest

Local crime writer Chris Longmuir announced Grace Murray winner of crime shot story competition at Angus Writers’ Circle

Grace’s winning story ‘A Holiday Romance’ is a chilling tale of an innocent flirtation gone wrong. Second in the contest was ‘Something Aboard the Merkel’ by Mark McJee and third place was ‘Rose Red’ by president of the group Anne Craig.

Chris, who is also a member of the group, is an established crime writer who won the Dundee International Book Prize in 2009 for ‘Dead Wood’. Since then she has published a number of books - ‘Night Watcher’, ‘Missing Believed Dead’ and her latest ‘The Death Game’.
