A FREE information evening for local people living with diabetes will be held in the Links Health Centre next Thursday, June 30.
Organised by the Montrose Diabetes Forum, the evening is also open to families and carers. Its aim is to help people living with diabetes to live well by providing up-to-date information on the condition as well as offering the opportunity for people to share their experiences.
It will be held in the health centre’s occupational therapy room, from 5.45 until 7.30pm, and the evening will include a presentation to highlight the support provided by NHS Tayside for diabetics.
Rhona Guild, Angus Community Health Partnership’s primary care manager, said: “It is important for people affected by a long-term condition to have access to the right information, education, support and services to help them manage their condition more effectively.
“The Montrose Diabetes Forum offers additional information and support to people with diabetes and their families and I would encourage members of the public to come along to the information evening.”
