YOUNG people across Angus will have a chance to have a say on health matters that are important to them with the formation of a new county-wide group.
This follows on the successful creation of a Tayside-wide young persons’ health group and feedback from local young people at Angus Youth Action events.
Aimed at 12 to 25-year-olds, the group will look at issues affecting the health and well-being of young people, as well as the services and facilities open to them. Members will also be encouraged to work towards improving and providing local solutions to any identified problems with support from Angus Council’s community learning and development service and local NHS young persons’ health workers. An initial meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 12 at 7pm in Angus Council’s Bruce House, Arbroath and transport may be available for those living outwith Arbroath.
