THE FRIENDS of Stracathro Hospital have presented photo dynamic diagnostic equipment and digital endoscopic equipment for the urinary tract, valued at £76,000, to Dr Greg Kata, consultant urologist at Stracathro Hospital, and head of nursing Susan Skene.

The equipment is the first of its kind in the UK. Chairperson of The Friends of Stracathro Hospital Mrs Ruth Leslie Melville said: “The Friends of Stracathro are absolutely delighted to fund this vital and ground-breaking equipment.”
