Get high for kids’ cancer charity!

CLIC Sargent is making a call for supporters from all over Scotland to join them in a climb of the UK’s highest mountain – Ben Nevis.

The climb, which will raise funds for the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people, takes place on October 6. The charity is hoping to have a 100-strong team joining them.

Regional fund-raising manager Mhairi Pearson said: “Our first challenge in June proved so popular we have decided to have another Ben Nevis climb in October for our supporters in Scotland, a day when people come from all over the country to take on a challenge and support Scottish children and young people with cancer.

“All money raised will provide clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to help families cope with the impact of cancer on family life.”

Participants are being asked to pay a registration fee of £35 and a minimum sponsorship of £175 per person or £500 for a team of four. Team CLIC Sargent will be in the safe hands of qualified mountain leaders and will receive a CLIC Sargent T-shirt to turn Ben Nevis pink for the day!
